// Wired Records is based
in Berlin and is run by Heidi Mortenson and Camille Saunders. It was founded by Heidi in
2005 when releasing 'Wired Stuff' - the debut album of Heidi Mortenson, with money that she
recieved from a fund. Originally the label started out as a series of events called Wired
Nights which were held at various venues in Berlin between 2004 and 2005. The events took form
at a musical playground with spontanity and testing of new ideas, and were descibed as fun,
chaotic and freakish theatre pieces of entertaining quality, with surprising guest appearances.
2006 saw the release of 'The Wired Ones', a compilation CD featuring artists such as Kevin
Blechdom, Dynasty Handbag, Scream Club and Angie Reed.
Wired Records colaborates with a cirlce of dedicated artists, friends and comunicators and work in the name of art and documentary. The world is constantly entering a new age and there is ever so much to discover and enjoy in combination with the past. // CONTACT: camille@wiredrecords.biz
